Progress Village Civic Council is a long-time civic organization developed as a gathering point for the residents of Progress Village to help one another in times of greatest need as we work toward a brighter future.
Our Initiatives
Community Resources
Progress Village Civic Council has developed strong relationships with community churches, many of Hillsborough County’s departments (i.e. Parks and Recreation, Sheriff departments), the Children’s Board, corporations, and various nonprofits that provide essential resources (i.e. education, environment, education, finance, food, recreation, and technology) to enhance the well-being, resilience, and quality of life to the community members.
Community Meetings
Progress Village Civic Council hosts a monthly community meetings that serves as a platform for residents to discuss issues, share information, collaborate on solutions, and strengthen community bonds. This platform allows residents to communicate with each other and with local authorities, organizations, and community partners about important issues impacting the community. The monthly meetings play a vital role in promoting transparency, participation, and collaboration within the community.
